Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a GP referral to join?
No referral is needed for this program. It's a private-pay service available directly. If you're not sure whether it's right for you, the $119 Discovery Session is a great way to start. If you do have a GP referral under a Chronic Disease Management plan, we also offer individual consultations that may be partially covered by Medicare.
Is this just a generic meal plan I could download for free?
Not even close. Every meal plan is built specifically for you based on your goals, preferences, lifestyle, and dietary needs, then adjusted weekly based on your progress. It's a personalised clinical service from an Accredited Practising Dietitian, not a template.
I'm really busy. How much time does this take each week?
The weekly check-in takes about 5 minutes. Your meal plans are done for you, so there's no time spent planning. The community is there when you need it, not as an obligation. Most clients find this program saves them time compared to figuring things out alone.
Can I still eat out and go to social events?
Absolutely. That's a core part of the approach. The 80/20 method is designed around real life. Plus, the Dining Out Guide and optional Dine-Out Rescue adjustments are built specifically for this.
What if I have dietary requirements or food allergies?
All plans are personalised to your specific needs. Whether it's coeliac disease, lactose intolerance, vegetarian preferences, or anything else, your dietitian builds around it from day one.
Is this covered by private health insurance?
The $119 Discovery Session is a standard dietetic consultation and can be claimed through private health insurance extras cover for dietetic services. Rebates and limits vary by fund and level of cover. The 12-week package itself is a structured program, so check with your health fund about how they handle packaged services. We provide appropriate invoices either way.
Who is Georgia and what are her qualifications?
Georgia Cottis is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Nutrition & Dietetics. She's a member of Dietitians Australia and has a background in hospital-based clinical dietetics. APD is the only protected dietitian credential in Australia.
What happens after the 12 weeks?
You graduate with the knowledge, tools, and habits to continue independently. Many clients find 12 weeks is enough to establish lasting habits. If you'd like ongoing support after the program, we have options available, but there's no pressure or expectation to continue.

I'm an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a background in hospital-based clinical dietetics. I started Diet IQ because I saw too many women stuck in a cycle of restriction, guilt, and restarting. The evidence clearly shows that flexible, balanced eating is what actually produces lasting results.

The Blueprint is how I work with clients who want structured, personalised support without the rigidity of traditional dieting. Every plan I write is built for one person: you. Not a template, not a cookie-cutter macro split, not a list of foods to avoid.

I deliver everything via telehealth, so it doesn't matter where you are in Australia. All you need is an internet connection and a willingness to try something that actually works.
